NEW YORK JETS INFORMATION

bullet

The New York Jets have their home arena at  Giants Stadium in Meadowlands.

bullet

New York Jets  had recently been interviewed on radio by confidential publisher Dan Leberfeld. It was their off season mark for the fans around the country.

bullet

The New York Jets have also come with with a  plan for having a new  West Side Stadium, last Tuesday. The stadium will  have wind turbines and solar collector tubes for producing electricity and hot water.

bullet

New York Jets linebacker Sam Cowart has been finally replaced by Jonathan Vilma.

bullet

The Jets will have some players off field due to injuries. C. Pennington is out of the team for sustaining a wrist injury and J. McGraw is out of action of having a  shoulder surgery.

bullet

New York Jets have so far won 6 games and lost 10 in the last season.

bullet

Their next scheduled game is at New Orleans in August.

bullet

Earlier New York Jets played at the Yankees stadium,  which was basically meant for baseball games.

bullet

In August 1971, the Giants signed a 30 year lease deal for their own stadium. The construction of the stadium started in 1972 and was completed in 1976. The first game was played by Giants on October 10, 1976. New York Jets moved at  the stadium in the year 1984 from Shia Stadium. The stadium has a field turf and was constructed at a cost of $78 million. Giants Stadium has a capacity of 79,469 seats. It has over 70 luxury suits and a restaurant with a seating capacity of 2000 people. Many big concerts have also been held in the stadium.

bullet

The New York Jets are coming off a disappointing 2003 season  in which they finished 6-10.  Only an year ago they had a  successful 2002 campaign.  The most notable injury occurred early in the season when emerging star Chad Pennington was hurt.  He hopes to be back this year and better than ever.  Along with perennial the 1,000 yard rusher Curtis Martin,  the Jets hope to recapture the explosive offense that allowed them to defeat  the Indianapolis Colts in the playoffs two years ago.

bullet

The Jets also attempted to strengthen up their defense with the drafting of University of Miami linebacker Jonathan Vilma.  Vilma is a smart and tough player who just seems to have a knack for the ball. With the departure of Mo Collins, he should step right in and contribute.

bullet

We have tickets to Jets games including all home games at the Meadowlands, and  division foes like the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and the Super Champion New England Patriots.  We accept all major credit cards so order your tickets today.
