Jaguars backup quarterback David Garrard underwent a surgery to pacify the symptoms of  Crohn's disease. He is expected to be back in time for the training camp.

Jacksonville Jaguars played their first game at Alltel Stadium on August 18, 1995. The stadium is built at the place of Gator Bowl stadium after it was 90% demolished. The stadium was earlier known as Jacksonville Municipal Stadium consisting of 70,000 blue seats. It has around 10,000 club seats of them. The stadium has been a host to many Jaguars games, Greater Bowl and concerts. The field surface of the stadium is grass and the cost of the construction was $139 million.
