baseball stadium. The Denver Broncos raised private funds to
build a stadium of their own which was constructed on a hill at 19th and clay
street and was known as Bears Stadium. Denver Broncos opened the stadium with
their first game played on September 9,1960. The stadium had undergone many up
gradations. The full capacity of the stadium was 80,227. The total cost of the
stadium was $25 million. The Broncos played their last game on December 23, 2000
at the Mile High Stadium. It was demolished after 2001 NFL season games. Broncos
thereafter shifted to Invesco Field at Mile High.
