The Cincinnati Bengals
have engaged running back Rudi Johnson for one year in the team.

Another player
Chris Perry who is a running back from Michigan, will be used to

The Bengals have
also signed in Larry Moore for three years. He will be a good backup
for the Bengals starting center Rich Braham.
|

Cincinnati Bengals have their home arena as
the Paul Brown Stadium since 2000. Earlier they played at Cinergy Field, which was a multipurpose stadium. In
1996 the team got a bill to build a new stadium. The Paul Brown Stadium is built
along the banks of river Ohio and the foundation stone was laid on April 25,
1998. The Bengals played their first game in the stadium on September 10, 2000.
The stadium has a seating capacity of 65,600 seats, the Paul Brown Stadium has 144
luxury suits and around 7,000 club seats. The surface of the stadium is Fieldturf and the cost of the stadium was $453 million.

The Cincinnati Bengals finally crept
out of the basement last year by going .500. After years of losing,
the Bengals look to be on the brink of being a playoff team. With a
career year out of quarterback John Kitna, and wide receiver Chad
Johnson, the Bengals put up huge numbers, and were one win away from
making their first playoffs in years. Despite John Kitna’s breakout
year, the Bengals are looking to make Carson Palmer the starting
quarterback in 2004. Palmer is a former number one draft pick,
who sat out his entire rookie season. Second year coach Marvin Lewis is
counting on him to live up to his potential.
|
|
Former Pro-Bowler Corey Dillon bolted
for the Patriots in the off-season, but was made expendable due
to the surprise season by running back Rudi Johnson. Johnson rushed for 957
yards and nine touchdowns, and is looking to be the go-to guy in
2004. Draftee Chris Perry out of Michigan, however, might have
something to say about that. Along with other great drafts, the Bengals key
off-season acquisition is cornerback Deltha
O’Neal from the Denver Broncos.
